70 km from Hobart you can visit Mt Field National Park. This park has multiple attractions including tall trees walk, Russell Falls, and Horseshoe Falls.
The walk is relatively easy and well signposted and there is the cursory visitors centre which provided refreshments and facilities.
Why Visit:
Visual delight, that’s why. The tall trees are fantastic, the moss-covered scenery, the wildlife, the falls. This is a photographer’s delight.
Added to this is the fact that this is an easy walk, though there are more difficult routes if you are inspired.
