Located in Lake St Clair National Park, Cradle Mountain has spectacular scenery, though I must admit, you need to be pretty fit to explore. A shuttle bus runs from the visitor centre and drops you off at the key locations, from where you can take walks and explore.
Why Visit:
The natural scenery, the wildlife, the peace and quiet. There are a variety of walks but be warned Tasmanian’s have a strange definition of the word easy.
