Cravings

Oh eucalyptus, oh eucalyptus as fair as can be
You are the centre of my thoughts as I huddle in this tree
Your leaves so lush and tasty, I dream of them as I sleep
Though a bit of gravy would make the flavours complete
It is of you I first think as I awaken
It is of you I think of when I’m bakin’
It is of you that keeps me awake at night
Of eucalyptus, you are quite a sight
If ever you were burnt to the ground
My heart would be broken, I know I’d become unsound
