Waterfall

If life was a waterfall, I’d be content.  I’d spend my days frolicking beneath its fall, always gloriously wet, but it isn’t.

If life was a waterfall, it wouldn’t be hot, dry, dusty.  It wouldn’t be boring, mundane, trivial.  It wouldn’t be an existence where the hunter and hunted dance their macabre.

If life was a waterfall I would cast the light of inspiration on my fellow travellers.  We would explore the concept of rational thought, creative content, lettuce rationing.

If life was a waterfall I’d …. oh goody, here comes the keeper … with lettuce.  Life is soooo good.
