A Letter A Week – T

Hey everyone,

So we’re getting close to the end, but we still have a few hurdles to jump, and this week its the letter T, but before we have the amazing reveal lets first recap what the Letter S invoked.

Kate from Aroused

that said the sassy squirrel
streaked up the sycamore tree
to secure more sweet nuts for summer
surely he could find a sweetheart on sinder
if he had sufficient nuts?

Fandango from This, That and The Other

Carol Anne from Therapy Bits

Sadje from Keep It Alive

Christine from Stine Writing

Leyde Ryan from Hourglass Poetry

Nancy Richy from The Elephant’s Truck

Onto the rules: This prompt is very simple, there is one rule only. Your response needs to contain the letter of the week, other than that you’re free to do as you wish. The prompts I offer are not compulsary, they’re just suggestions but it does close at 12pm on Saturday, so I have time to do the roundup.

If you’d like to join in use the tag #1letterperweek, and ping back and we’ll see how it goes.

So, onto T and this week’s prompts.

Place – tropics

Emotion – thrill

Adjective – tactical

Verb – tempt

My animal – toucan

Timmy the toucan had been very happy in the tropics

Timmy the toucan had been thrilled with the weather

But Timmy the toucan made a tactical error

When he let Tommy the Tiger tempt him to travel

  1. lol a bird taking a plane, love it!

    Truth is times are tempting
    to trek here and there
    but it’s more tactical
    or topical to tramp
    in the tropics than turn
traitor to the turkeys and toucans!
