Rhymezone’s My Friend
This is my poem that’s going to rhyme
I bet we’ll have a hell of a time
I guess we’ll see how it goes
It might keep us all on our toes
Now I guess we need to select a rhyming style
Question is what will make you smile
There’s many to select so you’ll see
I guess you’ll discover what will be
We might be here for awhile
So, have you worked it out yet
You might be getting confused
I’m taking that as a safe bet
Yep, lots of styles being used
So, on that note here’s the big finish
Hope you’re enjoying the ride still
I hope this poem doesn’t diminish
Your chaff from my poetry mill
A rhymed poem is a work of poetry that contains rhyming vowel sounds at particular moments. (Common vowel sounds are also known as “assonance”—not to be confused with “consonance” which refers to common consonant sounds.) There are many varieties of rhyming poetry within the English language, from sonnets to limericks to nursery rhymes.
