A Letter A Week – P

This week we’re upto P, and I will admit this drawing is a bit out there (yes further out than the ostrich and truck incident last week), but before we get onto that let’s first do the wrap up from last week.

Fandango from This, That and The Other

Staarlz from Falling Staarz Poetry

Sadje from Keep It Alive

Jaquintinwriter from Creative Life of Today’s Senior Citizens

Carol Anne from Therapy Bits

Now, just in case you haven’t popped in before, the rules This prompt is very simple, there is one rule only. Your response needs to contain the letter of the week, other than that you’re free to do as you wish. The prompts I offer are not compulsary, they’re just suggestions but it does close at 12pm on Saturday, so I have time to do the roundup.

If you’d like to join in use the tag #1letterperweek, and ping back and we’ll see how it goes.

So, onto P and this week’s prompts.

Place – playground

Emotion – passion

Adjective – perky

Verb – pacify

My animal – puffin

Puffing was Paul’s passion
He could puff all day long
He puffed in the playground
He puffed at school
Bubble gum he left
It stuck to everything as a rule
His mum was furious
Paul was so perky with his puffing
He often promised to desist
But that didn’t pacify her
She knew he was having way too much fun
To give it up in the long run

    1. I tried to comment but WP says I don’t exist again. I wish my boss would accept that excuse for non attendance 😊

  1. absolutely love the rhyme and fun in this one, totally delightful Deb!

when Pete saw Paula’s perky bits
    in the school playground
    his passion arose
and he struggled to pacify it
