Camp NaNoWriMo – 6th

Protest

Drag myself out of bed with a heavy head
It’s so cold, can’t feel my toes

To the kitchen, got to let the cat in
It’s so cold, can’t feel my toes

Hurry, do my weights, can’t be late
It’s so cold can’t feel my toes

Wash my face, dress, eat, open WordPress
It’s so cold can’t feel my toes

Breakfast, feed the stray cat, ready but feeling flat
It’s so cold can’t feel my toes

Socks and shoes, what else to do?
It’s so cold can’t feel my toes

Stuff this I’m going back to bed, man I have a heavy head

Chant

The chant poem is about as old as poetry itself. In fact, it may be the first form poetry took. Chant poems simply incorporate repetitive lines that form a sort of chant. Each line can repeat, or every other line.
