So we are at K, a letter with attitude in my opinion, but before we kick the prompts for this week in the atmosphere, first let’s wrap up the participants for J.
You can check them out below:
No longer jaded or jinxed
as I jiggle my way free
that jade jumping castle I did see
no jaguar will find me there …
for if he dare his claws will shred
the castle, and scare him instead!
Fandango from This, That and the Other
Jaquintin from Creative Life of Today’s Youthful Senior Citizens
Ok, so now onto the very limited rules, this prompt is very simple, there is one rule only. Your response needs to contain the letter of the week, other than that you’re free to do as you wish. The prompts I offer are not compulsary, they’re just suggestions but it does close at 12pm, so I can me to do the roundup.
If you’d like to join in use the tag #1letterperweek, and ping back and we’ll see how it goes.
So, onto K and this week’s prompts.
Place – kentucky
Emotion – kindness
Adjective – knockout
Verb – kick
My animal – kangaroo

Ok, I’m from Kentucky, and this was my first overseas trip, so perhaps that excuses my ignorance.
You see, I was knocked-out when I spied her, standing there as the horses charged around the track, and I knew this was the photo op I’d been waiting for. The gods, in their kindness had presented me with the proof I needed.
I knew that she’d noticed me though, it was in the twitch of her ears, what I didn’t anticipate was her kick.
Right into my gut, Jerry O’Connell was right, any time you’re near a kangaroo, it’s a close call.

I love your detail on skippy and the colour in the background … think you are ready to illustrate a kids book!
Kangaroos abound with kindness
carrying joey in their pouch
I’ve spotted them in Kalgoorlie and
Kaloorup but never in Kathmandu!
I do enjoy these Deb, even if I’m not posting, so thanks for including me!

Thanks Kate, I need to decide if I’m continuing in the next couple of weeks as we hit the midway mark. Everything ok your end? Cold and wet?

shhh a whole fortnight without rain until tonight … sunshine but freezing. I’m busy catching up with friends and doing some creative sewing but also started a book 🙂

Sounds like you’re having fun, we’re having way above the ordinary rainfall, but we could do with it
