Blackout

What do You See

iPhone, iPad, iWatch, and iDon’tKnow
iWatch, but iDon’tKnow
iPhone, iPad, iWatch, and iDon’tKnow
iWatch, but iDon’tKnow
And Facebook, and Twitter, and Instagram, and TikTok
iPhone, iPad, iwatch and iDon’tKnow
iWatch, but iDon’tKnow

Hickory Dickory Spock
Exhale, and take stock
It’s a blackout
No need to shout
Hickory Dickory Spock

Hickory Dickory Spock
Watch Grandma mock
As you forlornly wail
The power must prevail
No gadgets? What a horrid shock.

  1. I could feel the stress in this–fortunately I barely have time/energy to blog, so I don’t do any other form of Social Madness, er Media 🙂

    1. I use Facebook a bit, as they have a great drawing group who are very helpful, but most of them I can’t be bothered with

      1. To each their own, as the saying goes…I just think some folks, ‘specially the younger ones, have gotten too lost in the social media…maybe because the pandemic was all they had during “isolation”. How wonderful that FB has a drawing group–your drawings are so good, simple yet rich with inspiration.

      2. There is a community on Facebook, my husband is in contact with people who build aquariums, I do my drawing, but you have to look for the right groups to join

  2. Oh, this is hysterical, Deb. I especially like ‘Hickory, Dickory, Spock’. I don’t know why but it made me laugh out loud. ‘Blackout’ should’ve made my scream, since we’ve had rolling backouts all this week!
