Here we are everybody in week three of A Letter A week and I’d just like to thank everyone who joined me with letter B.
Check them out below:
Zelda Winter from Poetry … if Nothing Else
Remember there’s only one rule for this one, you must use the letter of the week, otherwise its a free for all, but it will close on Friday at 12pm, so I have time to do the round up.
If you’d like to join in use the tag #1letterperweek, and ping back and we’ll see how it goes.
Now onto this week’s prompts and though its predictable we’re upto C.
Place – chapel
Emotion – confusion
Adjective – calamitous
Verb – caressed
My animal – Crowned Crane

When the priest did not appear
The bride began to shake
Confusion and her fear
Made the chapel shake
Then they heard a shout
Bespeaking a calamitous event
And he appeared looking very devout
The disaster he was determined to prevent

I can hear you going “shuu-ee, shuu-ee, shuu-ee with the feathers and shya, shya, shya with you pencil on the crown. So lovely. I like this one lots. Calamitous, you say? that beak makes him look serene and elegant to me. A regal beak indeed. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Selma, they’re taking more time now. I’m struggling to get two done in a week

I like the fact that you use a lot of detail in one part and leave the rest as a line drawing. Almost like a caricature…

It was my best to date, but I think I’m still improving.

It must feel very gratifying to look back and see the progress.
