
The comfortable silence was broken by a heavy sigh.
“Good job,” There was a hint of regret in ther tone, “I think it’s time you went out on your own.”
“Really? You really think so?”
A slight smile curved their lips at the enthusiasm, “I’d hardly say it if I didn’t mean it, would I?”
“But what will you do?”
“Do? Retire, travel, read, take up a hobby.”
“A hobby?” The other’s astonishment made his lips twitch, “You wouldn’t.”
“No,” He conceeded, “But I had a vision of a new world called Earth.”
“That sounds ominious.”
So had his vision.
