Fandango’s Story Starter #38

I heard a sound outside, and quickly turned on the front porch light, opened the front door, and pulled out my gun. Stealthily, I crept out to the road, today I was going to win this fight.

Every evening round this time these mongrels would make their stand. Caterwauling, screeching, creating bedlam. Some said it was just youthful hijinks, I said it was time it was dealt with, and as I spied them creeping through the shadows I stilled, before deftly pumping the gun and taking aim.

The kittens ran eagerly to the stream of milk from my water pistol

  1. That’s so funny. You and your gun.
Two weeks ago a wild boar mama came too close to the mountain that ends where my yard begins. It was pitch dark. I didn’t see her but I heard her honk and her babies squeal.
Guess what— We took out the water guns and squirted the mountain from inside the house, of course. She got the message and ran.
Haha. We were scared but We had fun. 🤣 my husband thundered louder than I did about our crazy guns. 😛
