Doug Jacquier’s Raving and Wryting is the perfect book for a Saturday afternoon. As stated on the cover its bite-sized, which makes it perfect if you’re feeling time and just want a small break, it’s also quite funny, I found myself smiling at the conclusion of each tale, so this was an added bonus.
I enjoyed how each short story was completely unreliant on any other, this meant if I wanted to read at random there wasn’t an issue, but I will admit that I would have liked to see some longer tales. The lack of diversity did tell after a while.
My favourite part of the book were the poems at the end. They were very tongue in cheek and certainly provoked a laugh.
I would recommend this book to anyone short on time, or looking for something light hearted. It was an enjoyable read, and exceptional well suited to passing time on a long Saturday afternoon.

I still need to read and review mine. Did Doug know you wrote about it?
