eons passage, though extensive, means nought
for the sun burns golden bright regardless
beyond mortals reach, itβs a juggernaut
remaining unapproachable, guard less
the moon always nods its solemn respect
but others veer and are not so inclined
they believe in the right to disconnect
from divine law, however its defined
perhaps they believed a promise untrue
that thwarting nature was hardly a crime
that they were free spirited and could do
whatever their hearts and minds so entwined
but betraying high codes as widdershins
learn that heavens rules comprise hidden sins

Thanks for joining in WDYS Deb. Being oblivious to misery, and hardships of life is such a sad state to be in.
