I had a brilliant idea
To publish in the new year
But how to persuade others to read
I didn’t want to plead
Then an idea began to grow like a weed
I’ll pay it forward my dear friends
I decided with a smile
It will become a brand-new trend
But would it beguile?
I wondered adding another book to my pile.
Now I have a rather large goal
A stack of books ever growing
It might become my death knoll
But I won’t stop with book shelf overflowing
Cos perhaps others will keep the idea ongoing.

Good response to Diana’s prompt! The cool thing about paying it forward with a TBR is that the books really are enjoyable, so it’s a wonderful circle of reading and paying forward.
