Sitting on the bench Stacey’s lips crinkled to form a familiar frown.
She should have known better to come here on the weekend, but she’d just wanted to slide away from it all.
To stare out and know that there was life beyond her job, her family, her routine.
Now all she could hear was the insufferable ohh, ahh, isn’t it amazing, isn’t fantastic, isn’t it wonderful.
Tiredly she sighed, same old, same old.
It was all too familiar.
