At a time when most people were struggling, they thrived.
They sucked up the uncertainty, the anger, the confusion and used it as a source of sustenance.
They incited, impelled, and implored until others became so used to their propaganda, it became the accepted truth.
They argue, fought and condemned those who didn’t agree, pleased when others, with their own agenda, joined in just for the hell of it.
Then they sat back and waited.
This was a game for the patient.
This was a game for the purposeless.
This was a game for the populace.
Eventually they would win.
