Dappled sunlight illuminated the path, she even wore a timid smile
I know what you did, don’t you dare deny it
A chill to the morning air, the colours she wore were bright
Are you lying to me again, you know what happens when you lie
Leaves and pebbles beneath her feet, she would slip if she ran
Come back here, you can’t hide from me
Branches hanging low, ripping long hair from tender scalp
When I get hold of you, you’re going to regret it
We’re just going for a stroll she said
You’ll never see her again

Thanks, I’m glad you liked it. I was a bit worried that it was too dark

I don’t think I have. I just like doing something different. Responses to prompts are often very similar, I like to dwell on the different angle

This is so moving. I felt their pain and anger at the same time. Thanks for joining in Deb.

You’re welcome! It’s the prerogative of the writer where they want to go with the prompt. All stories are welcome. 😍
