Three Line Tales 294

Whistler’s Mother had never seen,

A river that seemed so much like a dream.

Old Mother Hubbard certainly knew,

Doorways opening onto rivers made quite a view.

Little Miss Muffat cursed and swore,

The purple in the sky couldn’t be ignored.

Thumbelina blew a raspberry of bad taste,

Boats sitting idle, what a waste.

Pinocchio sighed and implored,

A tower in the distance must be explored.

Mona Lisa broke into a huge smile,

Wouldn’t we all like to stay here awhile

Superman arrived in great haste,

Quick everyone inside, T Rex is about to lay this place to waste.
