Kitty’s been keeping an eye on my husband and his foray’s into the kitchen. She’s noticed that he’s been buying more of those spice packs with the recipes on the back and she thinks we might have a hankering for this one

Malaysian Peanut Satay

In the Pack

  • Malaysian Peanut Satay Sauce
  • Garlic and Ginger Paste
  • Dried Onion and Garlic Mix

You Will Need

  • 300g Diced Chicken Thigh Fillet
  • 1 cup Mixed Vegetables (Brown Onion, Red Capsicum, Green Capsicum)
  • 2 tbsp. Canola or Vegetable Oil
  • 2 cups Jasmine Rice

Cooking Instructions

  • Coat: Mix garlic & Ginger Paste through diced meat pieces and set aside
  • Sear: Flash fry Dried Onion & Garlic Mix in how and well-oiled medium saucepan for 5 seconds.  Add marinated chicken and cook until sealed, then add vegetables and stir-fry with chicken for one minute
  • Simmer: Add Malaysian Peanut Satay Sauce, mix well and reduce heat to low.  Simmer until chicken and vegetables are fully cooked and tender (approx. 20 minutes) Serve with steamed Jasmine Rice.
