Marcus stared at the photo, only resurfacing when the murmurs of his students rose to such a pitch that the teacher in the next room barked her annoyance pointedly.
“As I was saying, these birds demonstrate great affection, feeding and grooming each other.” He wrinkled his nose, “It’s almost nauseating to watch, isn’t it?”
“Get a room, why don’t you.”
Marcus let his lip twitch at the obnoxious comment, but didn’t miss a beat.
“But when they are in engaged in the courtship ritual not much will distract them,” Marcus Kitty smiled, flexing his claws, “And that’s when we strike.”

“The teacher barking her annoyance” should be the hint. This is such a interesting take on the photo Deb. Thanks a lot for joining in.

My fiance is a teacher, and judging by his stories from school, they do indeed bark 🤣
