At Christmas my husband hit the nail upon the head when he bought me an ice cream maker for Christmas, and given my daughter has left home leaving behind a big jar of nutella, it seems the perfect time for one of my favourite ice cream recipes.
Now don’t worry if you don’t have an ice cream maker, you can make any recipe in a blend or even with a hand beater, it may not be as creamy but they taste remarkably similar. Kitty thinks this one is good teamed with vanilla ice cream.
NUTELLA ICE CREAM
- 1 1/2 Cups Cream
- 1 Cup Milk
- 1/2 Cup Sugar
- 2/3 Cup Nutella
- 1 Teasppoin Vanilla
Ok, so the really simple method is as follows – Place all ingredients in a bowl, with a hand beater or blender, combine. If you don’t have an ice cream maker freeze at this point for approximately 6 hours.
If you do have an ice cream maker, using the instructions pour and let stir. This will result in a creamier blend, less likely to form ice crystals.
Freeze for six hours, then consume.
